What is DECT NR+?
DECT NR+ (also known as DECT 2020) is a modern wireless standard developed by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) specifically for critical Industry 4.0 applications (IIoT).
Unlike Wireless LAN, DECT NR+ operates in its own protected 1.9 GHz frequency band, free from interference by other devices or consumer networks. This makes communication extremely robust and reliable – almost comparable to a wired connection.
The technology enables the creation of private networks without operator fees or SIM cards.
