DETO Automation GmbH and the ROFA Group are further expanding their long-standing collaboration and transforming it into a strategic technology partnership. The Tyrolean manufacturer of automation components is thus combining its strengths with one of the largest system integrators for conveyor systems in the automotive industry and intralogistics, in order to jointly drive forward innovative solutions for automated conveyor technology and industrial material flow systems even more efficiently.

Following initial joint projects some 30 years ago, this step represents the logical next stage in a customer relationship that has grown over many years. For decades, ROFA has relied on DETO’s mobile control systems for rail-guided conveyor systems, amongst other things. Building on this foundation, a deeper development and technology partnership is now taking shape, with a clear focus on industrial practicality, future-proofing and retrofit capability.

“We have a long-standing business relationship with the ROFA Group, which is now evolving into a strategic partnership. Together, we can turn innovations into robust, market-ready solutions for our customers much quicker and more efficiently.”

Alfred della Torre Sen., Managing Director DETO Automation GmbH

The aim of the partnership is to develop new generations of products that meet the highest standards of performance and sustainability, both in new installations and in retrofit applications. As a manufacturer of intelligent components for moving systems, DETO Automation brings its technological expertise and in-depth user know-how to the table.

The first joint products to be launched will be in the field of contactless data transmission based on the new DECT NR+ radio standard, as well as intelligent energy transmission systems for busbar applications. Further solutions are already in the pipeline. The products are primarily aimed at customers in the automotive industry, intralogistics and related sectors, and will be made available through the ROFA Group’s global sales and service network.

The partnership underscores both companies’ shared ambition to actively shape the future of automated conveyor technology. For DETO Automation, it also represents an important step towards aligning innovative communication and power transmission solutions even more closely with the real-world requirements of industrial operators and bringing them to market internationally in collaboration with an experienced systems partner.
